BIOSTATISTICS FACULTY POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the Graduate School of Public Health, University of Puerto Rico, seeks applicants to fill tenure track faculty positions in the Biostatistics Program.
Expected duties include: teaching biostatistics graduate courses; supervising graduate student research projects; developing collaborative and independent research; and supporting the research infrastructure of the School of Public Health through statistical consultation and mentoring, and supporting the School’s teaching, service, and research mission.
Applicants should have a doctoral degree in Biostatistics or in a related field or be eligible to complete the degree by the time of appointment. Core qualifications include: strong background in statistical methodology and data management and programming, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and strong commitment to research and service in the Public Health field.
The applicants are also expected to have outstanding oral and written communication skills to teach Biostatistics courses in Spanish.
