These positions are within the Statistics group of the School of Mathematics and Statistics. Specifically, we are seeking candidates with research interests and computational skills at the intersection of Data Science and Computational Statistics that could contribute/lead related research within the School and contribute to our very successful and expanding online distance learning and on-campus MSc programmes in the area of Data Analytics.

Job purpose: Applications for the post are welcome in any research areas in Data Science/Computational Statistics that complement the existing strengths within the School. The post-holder will develop, lead and sustain research of international standard in Data Science/Computational Statistics, contribute to teaching, assessment, project supervision and curriculum design at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and participate in School management and organisation. For appointment at Reader you will have an outstanding track record of national and international distinction and leadership in research, including publications, income, and awards, bringing external recognition and distinction to yourself and the University.
