ABOUT DE GROUP:
The PMCD group, led by Principal Investigator (PI) Manuel Sánchez-de-la-Torre, is at the forefront of research in sleep-disordered breathing and its pathophysiological consequences. As a Ramon y Cajal Researcher and the Scientific Director of IDISCAM, Dr. Sánchez-de-la-Torre also chairs the Scientific Committee of the Spanish Respiratory Society (SEPAR). The group operates within the Biomedical Research Network in Respiratory Diseases (CIBERES) and is based at the National Paraplegics Hospital of Toledo's research center under IDISCAM. Our team boasts a high level of scientific productivity and strong collaborative ties, both within Spain (via the Spanish Sleep Network, encompassing over 35 hospitals) and internationally (spanning over 10 countries). We are consistently funded through competitive national and international grants and are dedicated to advancing translational research in biomedicine.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic postdoctoral researcher to join our Precision Medicine in Chronic Diseases (PMCD) group at the Health Research Institute of Castilla-La Mancha (IDISCAM).

Duration: 2-year contract
ROLE:
We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher specializing in Biomedical Sciences, Statistics, or Mathematics with substantial expertise in statistical and/or bioinformatic analysis in the biomedical domain.
The ideal candidate will contribute to our efforts in developing personalized clinical management systems for chronic diseases.
