On Friday, October 4, 2019 the first edition of the PhDay-EIO will take place at the Faculty of Mathematics of the USC.

It is a unique opportunity to join all Galician PhD students of Statistics, Operations Research and Optimization.
During the day different activities will take place:
- Guest session. We will have a recent doctor who will give us his vision of the doctorate, as well as the beginning of his career as a doctor.
- Oral exhibition. Participants who wish may present their work in talks lasting approximately 15-20 minutes. There will be a special prize for the best job.
- Ludic activity. At the end of the day a fun activity will be carried out for all those who want to attend, which will consist of a visit to the USC Natural History Museum.
