Position: Research Fellow (Post-Doc)
Location: National University of Singapore
Salary: Up to $72000 (SGD) per year (~$52k USD, ~40k GBP), depending upon experience.
Duration: 12 months in the first instance.
Candidates are sought for a research fellow position at the National University of Singapore, as part of the Institute of Operational Research & Analytics. The position is to work with A/P Ajay Jasra, A/P David Nott (both Department of Statistics and Applied Probability) and Prof Christine Shoemaker (Department of Engineering) on `New approaches to Computational Statistics with Sequential Computation and Emulator Methods in Bayesian inference'.
Suitable candidates are those with, or expecting to receive a PhD in statistics, information engineering, applied mathematics or a related discipline.
The position is available subject to administration, which can take up to 3 months. The position can be taken up as soon as this is complete.
