Loughborough University is seeking to appoint Lecturers, Senior Lecturers and Readers, in this latest phase of our ambitious campaign to recruit 100 outstanding academic staff. Appointments can be made in any area where our current aspirations and your exciting vision can combine to deliver special results.
We would particularly like to encourage female and BME applicants as we are actively seeking to increase numbers of female and BME Professors. Applications from those who might want to work part-time are also welcome.
Successful candidates will need to have a PhD and have a record of excellence which is contributing to the furtherance of knowledge in their discipline and which is recognised internationally.
Candidates must also be able to demonstrate a clear trajectory towards achievement at a higher academic level.
The salary will be
Lecturer (Grade 7): £39,992-£47,722 per annum;
Senior Lecturer (Grade 8): £49,772 to £55,998 per annum;
Reader (Grade 8): £50,618-£62,218 per annum,
at a starting salary to be confirmed on offer of appointment. Subject to annual pay award. In exceptional circumstances the University can offer a market supplement of up to 10% of the maximum salary quoted per annum.
