Associate Professor or Professor in Biostatistics, Oslo, Norway
An associate professor or a Professor position is available at the Research Center for Lifespan Changes in Brain and Cognition (LCBC) at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo (UiO), Norway.
LCBC is looking for a highly motivated talented (bio)statistician, ideally with interest in the analysis of complex high-dimensional time series and longitudinal data. For the first 5 years, the candidate is exempt from teaching duties. Instead, the candidate is expected to play a central role in the scientific programme of LCBC, including (co-)supervision of PhD students, advising and collaboration with researchers at LCBC. The position is permanent. A 3 years PhD or postdoc fellowship can follow the present position.
LCBC coordinates a large H2020 EU-project (2017-2022, 10.7 mill €), has obtained three ERC grants and is a “world leading centre” as one of five at UiO, with special funding for five years.
