2 year postdoctoral research associate in Statistics (Cardiff University)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a postdoctoral Research Associate in Statistics within the School of Mathematics at Cardiff University. The successful applicant would work on the EPSRC-funded project `Partial recovery of missing responses - a toolbox for efficient design and analysis when data may be missing not at random’.

This is a 2-year fixed-term post starting on 1st May 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will work with Dr. Robin Mitra at Cardiff University and Professor Stefanie Biedermann at The Open University. There will be collaboration with our project partners at the Office for National Statistics and NHS Blood and Transplant throughout the project as well. The project also involves an outreach activity where a training course will be delivered to the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Cameroon (either in person or remote depending on the circumstances).

Candidates with research expertise in any area of Statistics are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have, or be close to completion of, a PhD in Statistics or closely related field.

Salary range: £33,797 – £40,322 per annum (Grade 6)
