The University of Central Lancashire, Faculty of Health & Wellbeing are seeking a Reader or Professor in Quantitative Methods.
The post is to undertake internationally recognised research and provide academic leadership for the Faculty of Health & Wellbeing’s programmatic research that has a quantitative focus. This later could be in statistics, operational research or health economics or another health-related quantitative discipline, such as quantitative epidemiology. This is an indefinite post and the closing date is 18th December 2017.
The post is based in Preston, which is a pleasant multi-cultural city in the north of England, and has easy access to the Lake District (now a UNESCO world heritage site), the Forest of Bowland, an undiscovered area of outstanding natural beauty and the Ribble Valley. Houses in and around Preston are very modestly priced and the city has a thriving arts scene. We are extremely proud that Lubaina Himid, the University’s Professor of Contemporary Art has been awarded the 2017 Turner Prize.
