Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland (BioSS) and the School of Health and Life Sciences of the Glasgow Caledonian University are offering a 3-year fully-funded PhD studentship to develop statistical methods and models to investigate the dynamics of the interplay between lifestyle behaviours, its synergetic effects on human health and healthy ageing, and the implications for public health policies. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting edge of statistical and public health sciences, developing new statistical tools and applying them to model high-resolution data generated from current body worn sensor and mobile health technologies to address a global health issue.
