GROUP LEADER AND HEAD OF BIOSTATISTICS / BIOINFORMATICS CORE FACILITY (ref.CF/13/01)

IRB Barcelona seeks a Biostatistics Group Leader and Head of the Biostatistics/Bioinformatics Core Facility Service.
The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics or a related discipline.
The candidate is expected to:
1) Pursue internationally renowned research, developing new biostatistics and bioinformatics methods as integral components to IRB’s multi-disciplinary approach.
2) Collaborate with the IRB research laboratories including the analysis of data derived from high-throughput experiments as well as advise on statistics.

The Biostatistics / Bioinformatics Core Facility Service is one of several state-of-the–art core facilities available at IRB. It is currently composed of a team of three experienced analysts who are supported by IRB funding.
IRB will provide a generous start-up package to support research. Salary and conditions are competitive and commensurate with experience.
