JOB: Senior Statistician – London

Cystic Fibrosis Trust – Senior Statistician – APPLICATION DEADLINE 2 FEBRUARY 2017

Based in our Aldgate HQ in central London

Circa £47,000 doe plus flexible working and benefits – 3 year fixed term with possibility of extension

Working with the UK Cystic Fibrosis Registry Lead and senior clinicians you will have responsibility across all statistical aspects of the UK CF Registry; validation, analysis, reporting and publication of data collected within the Registry, and providing expertise in the design and set-up of future analyses.

A team player and able communicator, you will be able to confidently explain and discuss statistical methodologies and the results of analysis over email, telephone and in person. This role will involve working with clinical teams, academics and the pharmaceutical industry, and collaborating closely with other statisticians and data managers based at Imperial College London, including providing quality assurance and statistical review. With demonstrable experience in medical statistics and advanced statistical modelling techniques, the successful candidate will also have knowledge of STATA and computer-based database management, data cleaning and reporting techniques. You will be passionate about supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in its aim of beating the condition for good.
