We have funded PhD studentship opportunities (up to 4 years) available at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Jyväskylä, starting early 2016.
One of the open positions is in the Stochastics group, within the Academy of Finland funded project “Exact approximate Monte Carlo methods for complex Bayesian inference“. The project is about certain new sophisticated algorithms which are primarily used in computational statistics, especially in Bayesian inference.
